The Brisbane City Council and Australian Innovation Festival are proud to present this year’s CitySmart Innovation Festival.
This Festival of 80 events builds on the success of last year’s inaugural festival with forums from business and R&D communities that explore innovative solutions to the challenges of climate change and sustainability.
Events are from businesses, industry associations, research and education institutions, and Federal, State and local government agencies.

Innovation on show
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) ran from Thursday January 7 to Sunday 10 January in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was filled with press events, sub-shows and various parties for new and emerging innovative technologies from some of the leading innovation companies in the world. With a large variety of electronics on show, the operators of CES have chosen the best innovations in each field ranging from an iPhone operated wi-fi spy plane, to a portable internet hotspot. Each year, innovation and entrepreneurship are showcased during the Australian Innovation Festival.

This festival ran from the 26th April (World IP Day) to the end of May 2009.
The Festival’s theme for 2009 is: “Solutions for Success”.
